What is Harping MIDI Player?

Harping MIDI Player is an  interactive MIDI file player originally aimed to harmonica players in order to learn and practice music tunes taking them from the huge amount of freely available MIDI files on the web. Slowly it became natural that some other functions could be added like interactive piano keyboard, karaoke text display and some editing functions like adding and deleting notes and tracks, transpose, track naming, instrument change, crop the file, etc. and then save back to a MIDI file.
For the amateur musician it is the perfect tool to learn to play music without the need of knowing how to read standard music notation, you just look at the bars and read the notes displayed in a very staff like manner (see the screenshot), slow down at will, select a section and loop play, watch a piano as the keys are being pressed, etc.
For the harmonica player the note name can be replaced by the tablature of the selected harmonica type (diatonic or chromatic), key and tuning (several tunings are included and you can even load your own created custom tunings), see the normal inhale and blow notes, the bends and also the overblows and overdraws, watch the harmonica layout, also you can print the displayed tab for offline practice, you can create a text track with the tab and watch it in real time in the lyrics windows, and then save it as a text file if you want, this and much more.

Harping MIDI Player is shareware, that means it's a free to try software, not freeware, so if you really like it, want to support its development and also want to enjoy the advanced features then just register online and within a few minutes you'll receive the unlock serial code via email, you just enter it to your Harping already installed on your computer and it will became the full version.
